HOW TO APPLY

Visa Center handles Russian Visa applications. At time, the Embassy does not accept applications by mail or courier. All applicants are encouraged by Visa Center to apply at the Washington Visa Application Center located at the following address:

Russia Visa Requirements

Russian Tourist Visa

  • Original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.

  • Passport-type photograph: 1

  • Tourist Voucher. Copy of tourist voucher issued by tourist company or hotel in Russia approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

For Business Visa

  • Letter of Invitation. Copy of a business letter of invitation approved by the Russian Ministry of Interior or the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. OR Telex number with the name of the inviting organization. Multiple entry visas require an ORIGINAL invitation or Telex.
